CATIA V5 -based solution, Digital Project, was chosen by Zaha Hadid Architects as their 3D Building Information Modelling (BIM) system called Digital Project to design unique, iconic building developments quickly with high levels of engineering accuracy whilst minimising risk. This CATIA V5-based solution has given them the time to be more innovative and creative so that they can pursue visionary aesthetics on a huge and complex scale. Digital Project uses CATIA V5 as a core engine which means that the work done at Zaha Hadid Architects is parametric. This allows them to rapidly create multiple iterations by automatically updating the central model geometry. CATIA V5 design methodology allows them explore the ‘what if?’ options whilst assuring quality and accuracy throughout the project.
