Lockheed Martin’s Ship/Air Interaration Lab (SAIL) need to share complex information between aircraft engineering and aircraft-carrier opperations and sea. These areas are so specialised that only the most effective and collaborative solution would do.
They chose DELMIA and CATIA V5 to create Immersive Engineering and collaboration accros all platforms.
With their new toolset they can identify errors earlier and this helps facilitate cost avoidance.
