Customers now have the option to rent CATIA for short-term periods to better suit projects that only require CATIA for a one year period or less thanks to Dassault Systemes’ Software Rental Scheme. You can now rent CATIA licenses for 3 months up to one year depending on your company’s CATIA requirements.
The cost of renting CATIA covers both the initial software cost as well as software maintenance for the entire duration of the rental period. Short term contracts sometimes call for the need of powerfull design packages like CATIA, but the cost of buying licenses is not a viable option as the licenses would be an unnessesary cost to company after the contracts expire.
This rental option also gives you the ability to obtain projects in the Automotive and Aerospace industry. For those companies that are already in those industries and also have CATIA, large short term projects can now easily be taken on, as those companies already have the necessary skills to utilise CATIA for the duration of the project.
